Kaleja is an upcoming 2011 Telugu film starring Mahesh Babu and Anushka. Originally titled Varudu, the film being directed by Trivikram has been renamed Kaleja, with Khiladi being another option that was finally not chosen. According to sources, the film has got this new title after director Trivikram made some changes in the script. After the huge success of Athadu (2005), Mahesh Babu is teaming up with director Trivikram in Kaleja, touted to be an adventurous, comedy-oriented love story, produced by surya teja under the banner of Sri Surya’s Movies.

Mahesh Babu plays the role of a taxi driver, while Prakash Raj is the villain. Sunil and Brahmanandam have key roles in this movie being cinematographed by ace Bollywood cameraman Sunil Patel of Hum Tum and Bachna Ae Haseeno fame. Mani Sharma scores the music.
