3 Idiots Telugu remake titled 3 Rascals

Gemini Films which obtained the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of Vidh Vinod Chpra’s Raju Hirani directed 3 Idiots has roped in Shankar to direct them. With his Robo scaling new heights of film making Shankar sure has another hit in the remake which is titled 3 Rascals.

According to sources the Telugu version will have Mahesh Babu playing the role essayed by Aamir Khan, R Madhavan plays the same role as in Hindi and the third character is likely to be played by Siddharth making the remake a multistarrer.

In the Tamil version Vijay may play the role of Aamir Khan.

The Film

Khaleja is an uncomplicated film told with verve and vigour along with well coneived incidents and proper charecterisation.

The Synopsis

There is a remote village where people are dying with some unknown diseases. The village priest predicts that a saviour will arrive to safeguard the village.

Then a series of flashbacks, as told to Babjee (Sunil), show Alluri SitaRama Raju (Mahesh) a taxi driver who has to hand over insurance cheque to a family. He comes across Subhashini (Anushka) and both of them get on well together. Raju gets to meet Siddha (Shafi) who is

The story is simple but narrated with innovation and presented attractively. The screenplay holds the interest of the viewers. The dialogues are meaningfull and witty with adequate punch. Music is exhilarating. Choreography is appealing. Action sequences are absorbing. Cinematography is vibrant. Technical and production values are high.

Best actor, a reward for criticizing Chiru

Darshaka Ratna Dasari Narayana Rao is highly talented film personality. There is no doubt about his talent.

Dasari got best actor award for his film Mestri. The film released just before general elections. It attacked film star Chiranjeevi who had floated ambitious political party Praja Rajyam.

The film has obviously some references highlighting the drawbacks of Chiru as a politician.

The film bombed at the box-office. It failed to convey the message to masses. But Dasari got best actor award! Amazing. It happens in Tollywood only. In fact there is several contenders for best actor who score more than Dasari. Take Magadheera, Ramcharan got appreciation from every quarter for his second film. The presentation ceremony of Nandi awards last time appeared as a political function of Congress party. Those who supported the Congress got all awards.

Mahesh Kaleja, a high expected movie in the combination of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram has been released today on October 7th 2010.

Story of Mahesh Kaleja

Seeta Rama Raju (Mahesh Babu) is a taxi driver.

GK (Prakash Raj) and Tanikella Bharani are business partners selling Iridium that costs many times to gold, which is used in rocket building.

Tanikella’s daughter is Anushka. He wishes to get her married to Prakash Raj’s son (Amit) so that they can associate to do more businesses in illegal way. They also run medical colleges. They send a researcher to a border village in AP to discover that traces of Iridium. He discovers a Lord Krishna idol and finds that is made of Iridium. Later he learns that entire village has Iridium treasure under ground. Only 534 people live in the village. The conspiracy of Prakash Raj and Bharani is to evacuate those people and capture complete Iridium treasure. Dilavar Singh, a local, helps Prakash Raj in this matter.

After getting the things done, Prakash Raj kills Dilavar Singh and the Researcher for not letting the secret out. He also plans to kill Mahesh Babu in a planned way. He asks him to go to Rajasthan to handover the insurance money of Dilavar Singh. Mahesh Babu goes there. Shafi and Rao Ramesh are village heads there.

Why Prakash Raj tries to Kill Mahesh, How dangers surround Mahesh and how he encounters them? That is the twist from then which should be watched on Screen.

1st Half:

* Awesome Opening Scenes.
* Taxi song is the 1st song, Song is pretty good with nice dance moments. As of now movie is good.
* 2nd song Boom Boom shaka laka
* Dialogues are top notch, comedy is good in parts.
* Pileche Song is the third song.
* Routine story until now but chemistry between hero and heroine is good with a lot of funny scenes.
* Most of the movie shoot in Rajasthan.
* Interval Bang is Extra ordinary. The interval block covers up the entire first half.

1st Half Report:
Mahesh is extraordinary on the screen, Fresh and handsome. Opening scenes and comedy are good in the first half. Fights are clean. 15 minutes before the interval block is huge asset for the film. First half is above average. If second half is better than the first half, the movie can surely become a blockbuster.
Movie was Decent with First Songs. Pretty average stuff after the initial. Movie is pretty slow after the 1st song. Routine love drama b/w hero n heroine going on..Comedy Track was good in parts. Most of it is situated in desert. interval bang rockss

2nd Half:

* 2nd half started.
* Sada Siva is the next song. Excellent song, picturisation is on par with the music.
* Scenes are good in parts.
* Sunday Monday song.
* Movie is little slow in the 2nd half.
* Editing is not crisp.
* Makathika is the last song.
* Climax is good.

Final Report:
Its Mahesh’s One man show movie with good comedy. The movie is very good in parts but a slow second half will have effect on the movie. Overall the movie can be an above average grosser in Mahesh’s career as per preview talk. Lets wait until tomorrow for the final talk and review of Khaleja.Sadasiva song was picturised beautifully.
