The trilingual film ‘Robot’ that is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages with South Indian Super Star Rajanikant and former Miss Universe and Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Rai, is all set to hit the screens on September 24. Directed by maverick director Shankar and produced by Kalanidhi Maran on the banner of Sun Pictures, the film is claimed to be the highest budget film based on science-fiction subject. Thota Kanna Rao of West Godavari bagged the Telugu version distribution rights across the state. The film is claimed to be made of high technical values. Moreover the film has music from Oscar award winner AR Rahman, cinematography is by Ratnavelu, dialogues are by Sriramakrishna and lyrics are by Bhuvanachandra, Suddala Ashokteja and Vanamali.

Raktha Charitra too ready for release on Sept 24

While Shankar’s ‘Robot’ and SJ Surya’s ‘Komaram Puli’ are in the race for release in the end of September, ace director Ram Gopal Varma too had announced to release dates of his forthcoming flick ‘Rakta Charitra’ as September 24. Despite surrounded by various controversies, the director is firm on releasing the film. The Telugu version of the film is going to be released in two parts. The first part is now slated for release on September 24, while the second part would be released after 50 days. However, the release of the Hindi version might be in October. Another interesting aspect of the film is that it had no songs and the original soundtrack of Manisharma’s background score would be released on September 10.

Kaleja is an upcoming 2011 Telugu film starring Mahesh Babu and Anushka. Originally titled Varudu, the film being directed by Trivikram has been renamed Kaleja, with Khiladi being another option that was finally not chosen. According to sources, the film has got this new title after director Trivikram made some changes in the script.
